I expect to develop the view of the predictions that can be derived from the Standard Cosmology.  As time permits, I will attempt to include instances in nature that appear to fulfill these prediction.

Predictions

Purpose for our existence

The specific purpose for our existence is to experience the operation of Natural Law. If we do not initially understand its operation, we will continue to have experiences that offer further opportunities for understanding.

For this to make sense, it is important that you set aside your sense of personal purpose as it applies to your current lifetime.  According to the Standard Cosmology, you exist on a much larger scale that which you experience in the conscious state in your physical body.

Survival of Self Beyond Physical Death

We seldom understand the implications of experiences we have in a lifetime. Therefore, we, as Self, must continue beyond an individual lifetime to understand the Principles of Natural Law. (By the way, imperfect understanding of these principles is the basis of Karma.)

Do you sometimes think you are surrounded by idiots?  Do you notice that some people are simply smarter than other--both in education and the ability to comprehend what they experience?  Do you think believe that the intellectually challenged amongst us are doomed to remain that way forever?  According to the Standard Cosmology, everyone is on their individual path to comprehend the operation of reality.  This path is a continuum that extends far into the "past" and into the "future" of the individual's experience.

Spiritual Maturity

Our ability to modify local reality depends on our ability to focus attention, our clarity of visualization, our understanding of Natural Law, and our compliance with Natural Law.

Spiritual maturity is a term describing the fulfillment of Self's purpose for existing.  Like physical maturing of the personality, the maturation of Self is evidenced by an increasing understanding of and living in accordance with the Principles of Natural Law.

Individuals will have different degrees of spiritual maturity

We initially enter into this local reality with the collective understanding of Natural Law held by our creator entity, but with a certain naiveté concerning the specific aspects of Natural Law we are to experience. Therefore, individuals among us will exhibit varying degrees of spiritual maturity that bears little relationship to their physical maturity.

This is an argument explaining why some people seem to come into this lifetime as a more aware individuals than do others.  All people appear to have the same potential for spiritual maturity; however, individuals have gained varying amounts of spiritual maturity.  It is not clear that intelligence quotient is a safe indicator of spiritual maturity because as is discussed in the Prediction, Helpers, a very mature individual may be seeking experience that requires a certain ignorance of Natural Law.

Aspects of reality

There is a difference in the nature of reality between our place of awareness and that of our creator entity. Communications must be possible across that difference.

There are levels or different aspects of reality.  Our aspect of reality is generally referred to as physical and other aspects of reality are referred to as nonphysical.  This prediction is an argument for mediumship in ITC.  This is also an argument that there must be an interface between physical and nonphysical reality.  For instance, electromagnetic energy is thought to be derived from etheric energy.  Etheric energy is sometimes characterized as scalar energy.  There may be a threshold of derivation between the two aspects of energy that would constitute the transition between physical and nonphysical aspects of reality.

The veil of forgetfulness

A veil of forgetfulness must exist to cloud our recollection of nonphysical experience. Such a veil assures our complete involvement with physical experiences. It must require a high degree of spiritual maturity to bridged this veil.

There is thought to be an energetic difference between physical and nonphysical reality.  It is also thought that a certain level of spiritual maturity is required before Self can extend awareness across this difference.  Thus, as Self gains in maturity, it also is more able to be aware of nonphysical reality.  An indication of this may be increasing mediumistic ability.

Ghosts

Physical death, which is transition out of the Physical Plane, will not automatically end Self's involvement with physical reality. Interaction between a discarnate Self and physical reality should be expected for some time after transition.

It is human nature to seek the familiar.  When a person transitions out of a lifetime, there remains a strong bond of familiarity for the physical.  As such, it is believed that there is a period of transition, in which Self will gradually withdraw from near-physical locales.  Also, the physical body is a life form and an individual entity to some extent.  Thus the entity represented by the body consciousness will tend to slowly dissipate as the motivating intention of the Self is withdrawn.  This surviving nonphysical body consciousness entity is thought to be the source of many hauntings situations.

Helpers in our pursuit of spiritual maturity

We must understand the unique operation of Natural Law in this local reality before we may return to our creator entity. Therefore, as an aspect of a creator entity, there should be cooperation amongst our fellow physical and nonphysical aspects that aids in our pursuit of spiritual maturity.

As the concept of hierarchy goes, the creator entity initiates aspects of itself into situations in which specific suites of experiences may be explored.  It is believed that, once the aspect is initiated, it cannot return gained understanding until it has achieved some level of spiritual maturity.  Thus, until all of the aspects are returned, the creator entity cannot, itself, return to its creator entity.  It is thought that the reported "spiritual guides" or "Guardian Angels" may in fact be a person's fellow aspects seeking to facilitate the return of all fellow aspects.
